How it is worked out: the value per 100 grams × grams per decilitre / 100. For rolled oats the energy is 375 × 39 / 100 = 146 kcal per decilitre. Carbohydrate means available carbohydrate, without fibre. The values are for the food as named, for example dry rolled oats, not cooked porridge.

Sugar comes from Dansukker’s product pages for granulated, icing and brown sugar. Butter comes from Arla’s article on butter, and potato starch and syrup from Arla’s measure converter. The manufacturers’ values are rounded. A tablespoon here is 15 ml.
How to convert
Grams = decilitres × grams per decilitre. Three decilitres of wheat flour weigh 3 × 56 = 168 grams. The other way, divide: 200 grams of wheat flour is 200 / 56 = 3.6 dl. A US cup is 2.37 dl, so a cup of wheat flour is about 130 grams.
Salt, oil and cocoa
For salt, oil and cocoa we have not found a measurement from a source we trust, and we do not guess. Weigh them, or use the figure on the packet.
Why the weight varies
Flour scooped straight from the bag packs tighter than flour spooned into the measure, and sifted flour weighs least. For the same result every time, use kitchen scales.
